When Hanna and I met in 2019, we quickly realized that we wanted to work together. Although Hanna wasn’t painting at the time, we knew we would find a way as we both worked with animals. So it was only a short time before the first wonderful creature came to life. In autumn 2019, Ferdinand – the feathered goat I drew – became 3d by Hannas woolen art. Tamandual was born and more animals followed. Maud, the gentle creature, received her long-awaited wings and the dream of our namesake – Tamandua Philipp – to have his own family came true. Hanna knitted and I drew and we each developed the animals in our own style.
